PIRATE'S BEACH

4222 BARATARIA COURT

RENOVATION + REHABILITATION
SINGLE FAMILY
COMPLETED 2010

Designed by Houston architects' Mackie and Kamrath and built for the developer in the mid 1960's, the Asian inspired Usonian house holds historic cultural value in a unique setting.

This front-row getaway is a gem that was badly damaged by Hurricane Ike in 2008. We worked closely with the client and builder to stabilize and harden the structural frame of the house and significantly upgrade the entire property. The shell of the structure underwent substantial repairs and improvements, the interior was renovated, and new systems were installed. All decks, rails, and ground Floor construction is new to the house, as is the site work and beach dune.
