Hurricane Ike destroyed portions of the striking 1980's modernist house that was built for the Pirates' Cove developer. The design integrity of the house remained, and structural repairs were achievable to rehabilitate. A cantilevered portion of the structure was near collapse and required repair to restore its structural integrity; over 3,500 square feet of deck areas were destroyed and replaced; and all openings were upgraded.

The project includes:
